L'oeuf au miroir

A reflection

On Sunday I was this close *holds up thumb and index finger really close together* to having a beer with Paul Simon. See, on Sunday I was at the US Open, and so was Paul Simon. He was sitting across the entire court from me, about 25 rows closer to the court than me, BUT the point is that we were both there, at the US Open, at the same time.

You just never know, we could have run into one another at one of the beer vendors, and I'd be all like, "Hey there, Paul Simon. You rock. Wanna have a beer with me?" And he'd be all like, "Sure, Zelda P. I think that would be groovy." We'd pop open our cans, clink them together, and say "Cheers! Here's to old friends and new ones."

Well, maybe not quite like that.

But we were both in the same place at the same time - kinda like walking down the very same street together on the very same day.

Uh, yeah. I know. I'm stretching it.

Okay. But check this out: E gave me the last sip of his beer when we realized Paul Simon was there so, in a way, it was like I was having a beer with him (or in his presence, at least).

I <3 NY.

It's interesting that you mention this because last Saturday Garth Brooks and I had lunch.

I had mine in my kitchen and I don't know where he had his but we both had lunch.

By the way, I also can tell you the score of the Cowboy's game before the game starts.

If you use Walk's way of thinking, you DID indeed have a beer with Paul Simon.

It's exciting no matter how you look at it!

A friend of mine once got a cigar from Donald Trump at the Daytona 500, and I got to smoke half of it. So, following Walks line of thinking I smoked a cigar with Donald Trump. Eat your heart out Monica! LOL

Sounds like you had a great time at the Open.
